Little Tom Tom,
Little kitten in the corner,
Mewing oh so softly,
Your love light shines luminescent.
I envy you friend,
Catching table scraps,
Daily pettings,
These things make you happy.
I wish I could be like you,
But I cannot,
I can still learn,
And take your gifts in stride.
