Siren's Song

A cry from death's door,
What I hear is different from most,
A sweet lullaby.

The River

Life on the river,
If it rains I would not mind,
Sustaining us all.

Outdoor Observations: Let It Snow

I walk in the dusky twilight,
Past everything worth seeing,
I see her cry,
With a thousand eyes.

Her frozen fears,
Flow from each brow,
Enveloping all,
Touching none.

I am hers,
She is mine,
I'll miss you,
Let it snow.

The Tiger's Eyes

A tiger’s eyes,

In the pale moon light,

A tiger’s eyes,

Shining big and bright.

The Indian Jungle,

Dense and dark,

Life brimming throughout,

The perfect prey.

A flash,

A radiant second,

The penultimate pulsing form pounces,

Fantasy in motion.

All you can see,

Before it ends,

Are the eyes,

The tiger’s eyes.

A Crescent Moon's Dream

A diamond,
In all its splendor,
A sunlight's dream,
A crescent moon's delight.

A climb,
Worth the time,
Searching for me,
Worth the strength,
Searching for you.

I'd rather have a butterfly,
Than a measly moth,
For one day,
I'd have beauty,
For one day,
I'd have life.

Lovely little lamb,
Do not weep,
Lovely little lamb,
Living in the sand,
Lovely little lamb,
Do not be afraid,
Lovely little lamb,
Please take my hand.

A diamond,
In all its shine,
A sunlight's delight,
A crescent moon's dream.
