There once was a little girl,
Who had a little wish,
To feel the stars she knew,
In her heart and in the night.
Up above the world so high,
She jumped and jumped,
And tried and tried,
To catch the stars with all her might.
She went on a journey,
Chasing rainbows,
Catching clouds,
Finding the ladders to her love.
And there they were,
Dancing and playing,
The stars gave her life,
And made her whole again.
From her beautiful reverie,
She woke in a sleepy stupor,
To find pixie dust in her fist,
And love in her heart.

Angel Apocalypse
The angel apocalypse,
What a place,
What a space,
To die for love's gain.
The clashing forces,
Of love and hate,
An epic tale,
Always worth a listen.
Blood raining down,
From demon's quarry,
The battle is not yet won,
Turning frown upside down.
The thunders rage,
With fire and flame,
The volcanoes live again,
To signal the game.
And then He came down,
Ending the quarrel proclaiming,
"My love is real."
"My love is real."
What a place,
What a space,
To die for love's gain.
The clashing forces,
Of love and hate,
An epic tale,
Always worth a listen.
Blood raining down,
From demon's quarry,
The battle is not yet won,
Turning frown upside down.
The thunders rage,
With fire and flame,
The volcanoes live again,
To signal the game.
And then He came down,
Ending the quarrel proclaiming,
"My love is real."
"My love is real."

Pearl
A pearl necklace,
Smooth on the eyes,
Smooth on the soul,
A delight to all.
The mountain,
Through treacherous earth,
And scurrilous tempest,
Always worth the climb.
The pit,
Walking through with eyes closed,
And heart open,
Darkness washes over like a warm blanket.
The rock,
Heat between two lovers,
Is enough to turn,
Stone to stud.
A pearl necklace,
Smooth on the eyes,
Smooth on the soul,
Always worth it in the end.
Smooth on the eyes,
Smooth on the soul,
A delight to all.
The mountain,
Through treacherous earth,
And scurrilous tempest,
Always worth the climb.
The pit,
Walking through with eyes closed,
And heart open,
Darkness washes over like a warm blanket.
The rock,
Heat between two lovers,
Is enough to turn,
Stone to stud.
A pearl necklace,
Smooth on the eyes,
Smooth on the soul,
Always worth it in the end.

Lighthouse
A light spins round and round,
Shining its shimmering essence,
To all who may gaze.
Light without darkness,
A symphony without a conductor,
For the world to hear.
A light spins round and round,
Shining with all its might,
Shining on me.
Shining its shimmering essence,
To all who may gaze.
Light without darkness,
A symphony without a conductor,
For the world to hear.
A light spins round and round,
Shining with all its might,
Shining on me.

Duet
A lotus grows in the mud,
Something beautiful,
out of the abyss,
Is not a mistake to me.
A rose withers,A rose blooms,
A rose is stepped upon in hate,
We are that trampled rose,
We are not beautiful.
A rose,
Painted red,
Rising from the ashes,
of lover's prose.
A rose once read,
Slowly dying,
Like the flames from a first love,
Now dead.
From death,
Breathes new life,
The unforgotten promise,
Putting His name on the line.
We walk a fine line,
For we are not divine,
We are not special,
We are not new,
We are not worthy of new breathe or life,
...So why must we try to be beautiful?
Why must we try, to be something we are not?
A spider spins a splendid web,
A butterfly lives for only a day,
A bee toils for its queen,
Why oh why oh why?
For we are not divine,
We are not special,
We are not new,
We are not worthy of new breathe or life,
...So why must we try to be beautiful?
Why must we try, to be something we are not?
A spider spins a splendid web,
A butterfly lives for only a day,
A bee toils for its queen,
Why oh why oh why?
Because life is cruel,
But also divine,
So haunting and so lovely,
Both at the same time.
Life is the sweet nectar,
Of a job well done,
The ambient twirl,
of the cosmic symphony.
A symphony of love,
A beat of remorse,
A melody so joyful,
It makes me believe that life,
Is a simple accapella.
A chorus sings,
A lover cries,
A demon screams,
And an angel sighs.
*This was a duet poem with my friend Cherry. She's pretty awesome. My parts are the parts in bold. It might be continued, I don't know. Enjoy.
